Dad is back home and doing much better. Downside is that he'll have to take Warfarin for the rest of his life.
Other than that, things are back to normal.

I am glad to know your dad is doing better.
My stepdad has had two strokes and has gotten through so well, just a few problems with his vision and also taking an anticoagulant like your dad.
