The REAL reason we're told to wash our hair twice a week

It's not to keep it clean, believe it or not.

The real reason is because shampoo contains EDTA, which if you didn't know, is used in some forms of chelation therapy. Yep. It's another product of the paranoia-induced mercury theory.

If only autism were caused by mercury, lead or arsenic intoxication. But it's not (and has been proven time and again).

Once again, I'm in no way denying these metals are bad news, but the amount of mercury put in thimerosol isn't enough to poison you and neither is the amount of mercury added to dental amalgam fillings.

Hi Beau,
Not all shampoo contains EDTA, you know. We use all organic personal care products that don't contain hundreds of chemicals. If a person only uses a few things that can be bought on the shelf at Walmart, by the time they leave their bathroom, they've been exposed to thousands of chemicals. Not good. I just wanted to let you know there are people who don't use the toxic chemical laden products that most people don't think twice about. :)

I wash my hair everyday. Twice a week just wouldn't get it.

And to think, I always thought they wanted us wash twice (every time we wash) so they could sell more shampoo.

Silly me.
