Before I start, a couple of clarifications

1. I do not personally approve of Autism Speaks or their methods, but there are some nice people on the forums.

2. About the puzzle ribbon logo. Most anti-cure activists don't like it. However, I do like it. I have my own reasons for doing so. If you disagree with my stances, fine. Just don't complain.

Beau, I have a puzzel ribbon on my van. I don't find it offensive. It is the most easily recognisable symbol out there! I am happy to contribute to your blog!

Hi, thanks for commenting!

I've come to find out that many people find it offensive for some reason. I fail to see why.

I've never understood it either. People need to be aware and learn exactly what Autism is. Then maybe when I grocery shop with my son they won't stare or make rude comments.

And yes, my car proudly displays my puzzle ribbon. ;)

I know how you feel about the staring.

People have stared at me my entire life and I never knew why. When I was born, nobody knew a thing about autism, which is most likely why I was never diagnosed.
